Who we are and what we do...

Members of the Fort Bend Beekeepers Association have joined together to represent and assist area beekeepers for more than 30 years.  We strive to:

  • promote the science, art and skill of beekeeping

  • training, advice and assistance to beekeepers

  • benefit our community through education and outreach

Some members have dozens of hives and have been keeping bees for decades.  Others are just getting started and have yet to set up a hive.   Some keep bees in rural settings; others are in neighborhoods.

Our annual dues are $10.00 for the calendar year.  We are grateful for the support and sponsorship that we receive from the staff and agents at Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service - Fort Bend County.
